Photos

So far no luck with the light. It seems the sun doesn't want to come out now that I actually want it too ;) I'll see if I have more luck tomorrow and if not I'll going to try the daylight lamps again on Saturday. In the meantime I've been cleaning house, I've thrown away 6 grocery bags full of paper and some board games.

If there is something I love to do it is organize. It takes time but I get a satisfaction out of it. Now that most stuff is organized it is time to start on the doll room. And it is difficult to start there because I have so much stuff I don't know where to begin! This means there will be dolls put on sale. So watch out for those on my show and sell dollpage ;)

On JamieShow Jamie, she is gorgeous bald but I love her with blond hair. There was a wig I've been keeping for years which didn't suited any of the dolls I had until now ;) So I've finally found a doll for the wig :)

JAMIEshow Studio J Collection Jamie Stand

The doll stand is not very heavy but because the arm of the stand has to be screwed in the plastic holder it is very sturdy. And the extra control knob on the arm makes it even extra sturdy because the stand can be adjusted to her height. And since I will be changing between high heeled shoes and lower heeled shoes this stand can be used for both ;) Up to now the AG stand was my favorite but now I like this one more.

What caught me about this doll were the eyes, lips and body. And she looks amazing in person! It isn't often when a doll looks exactly like the promo pictures. Even if they are from the production doll. The beauty of the skin is hard to capture but it is amazing in person. Wondering how she would compare to my Tonner's and AG's.

She was bought from Angelic Dreamz which exclusively carry the lines except for a few JS dolls.

Somehow I was hoping the shoes came with the little plastic see-through feet shown in some of George's photos. But I love the shoes. A beautiful vibrant red and high heels ;) Love to see how it fits Jamie

Accessories with JAMIEshow Studio J Jamie

Once the box was opened all the accessories that came with this particular doll are visible in a plastic box on top of the doll. The wig is a beautiful brown color. The hands look very delicate with beautiful fingernails and blushing. The shoes look lovely and the dress is beautiful black satin. And I love satin. The shoulder has lovely zircons. So all in all the accessories look fabulous.

Angelic Dreamz Own MAY WIG

One of the accessories, a beautiful blond wig. It seems small, smaller then all the other wigs I own. I'm wondering how it looks like on her, or even how to put it on her. Hope I don't have to stretch it too much. Comes packed in a plastic bag with a carton surrounding one part of the wig. Handy to store it like this when it isn't used.

I haven't bought a single doll this year because of a couple of reasons. I've also spent less time on pics, dolls and my blog because I was extremely busy with school. I still have a few things I have to do for school but last week I decided it was time to treat myself and bought a doll which I was pining for a couple of months now. I still love the dolls I've got and am appreciating them more when I see new dolls but this girl was one I really wanted to add to my collection. As I write this I haven't seen the doll yet though she arrived a couple hours ago. The light is faint so I expect the pics won't be very good, just as long as it is good enough ;)

The first thing I noticed is that the box is quite small and not very heavy. The brown shipper is very sturdy but not thick. It has this sticker on top of the box;
